About us
Let us introduce ourselves.
Vision
We have a vision that a safe, just and fulfilling life, where everyone can develop their talents, is achievable for all people in the future. We believe that climate change can be stopped or at least sufficiently mitigated.
The UN's 17 Sustainable Development Goals are important guideposts in this regard.
Mission
We support people who are in a difficult social situation, e.g. refugees on Lesbos or in Athens. The support takes place in different ways with the goal that the people can stand on their own feet and are integrated into society.
Furthermore, we provide computers and learning content, thus enabling education and further training.
We support projects that work for the preservation of biodiversity, the fight against climate change and the adaptation to the changes that have already taken place in our environment.

Philosophy
We believe in global human rights, equality, freedom and dignity of every individual. We are not willing to compromise on this in any way.
The name Meaalofa
The word comes from the Polynesian language and means "the gift" or "the gift that comes from the heart" or also "the gift that is given with love".
We found that this term fits very well with our goals and approach. It is a great gift to be able to give gifts at all. We are very grateful for that, and so what we and others give also flows back to all of us.
